Vivid Sydney 2010
Vivid Sydney (27 May-21 June), our festival of light, music and ideas returns this year, once again featuring the spectacular illumination of the Sydney Opera House sails.
The festival celebrates Sydney as the creative hub of the Asia Pacific with large scale light installations and projections; music performances and collaborations; creative ideas, discussion and debate.
Sydney Opera House will be the focal point of Vivid Sydney with the lighting of the sails and Vivid LIVE - a music festival with a difference, curated by an internationally renowned artist. The Vivid Sydney program also includes Macquarie Visions, Fire Water, Creative Sydney, X Media Lab and Song Summit.
Vivid Sydney is one of five anchor events on the NSW Master Events Calendar developed by the NSW Government through Events NSW.
