Pinctada Launches Polo Experience Packages
On Sunday 23 May 2010, the tide, season, Paspaley and Pinctada will combine to deliver a rare spectacle. Paspaley Beach Polo combines one of nature’s greatest assets, sunset over the Kimberley coast, with the vigor and excitement of Australia’s top professional polo players competing for the Paspaley Cup.
The inaugural Paspaley Beach Polo event is unique in Australia and rare in the world as Broome’s iconic Cable Beach joins only a handful of exotic locations to host beach polo - Miami in the USA, Poole in the UK, Dubai in the UAE and Goa in India.
Pinctada Cable Beach, Broome’s award-winning new 5-star spa resort, is the official hotel for the event and has announced a special 3-night Pinctada Polo Experience package.
“Paspaley Beach Polo has attracted interest from around the world and we’ve designed the Pinctada Polo Experience for guests who want to immerse themselves in the excitement and glamour of this unique sporting event,” Marilynne Paspaley AM, founder of Pinctada Hotels & Resorts, said. “Pinctada Cable Beach will be hosting Australia’s leading polo players during the tournament as well as a number of polo related events including the ‘after party’ – we are looking forward to also hosting our guests at these activities as part of the Pinctada polo experience.”
The Pinctada Polo Experience package includes:
o An invitation to enjoy Paspaley Beach Polo in the elegant ambience of the Paspaley Beach Polo Marquee, hosted by Pinctada Hotels & Resorts, including champagne and sumptuous cuisine
o An invitation to join the polo players at the Paspaley Beach Polo ‘after party’ at Pinctada Cable Beach
o 3 nights’ accommodation at Pinctada Cable Beach, staying in a Shinju Studio.
o Full cooked breakfast daily
o Dinner each night at award-winning SELENE Brasserie
o Return airport transfers in Broome
o Welcome drink on arrival
Pinctada Hotels & Resorts is also offering a Pinctada Polo Experience package at its award-winning boutique escape McAlpine House, a century old Broome villa which was originally built as the home of a Master Pearler.
The Pinctada Polo Experience packages have also been designed for guests travelling from Sydney and Melbourne to take advantage of direct flights to Broome.
Prices for the Pinctada Polo Experience start from $1,379 with options for room upgrades or extended stays. Reservations and enquiries can be made by contacting Pinctada Hotels & Resorts central reservations: E: firstname.lastname@example.org; T: 1800 PINCTADA or 1800 746 282 (Toll free within Australia) or +61 (0) 8 9193 8340.
