An offer so good you can afford to holiday more often
A recent study found that the average Australian takes only 16 days of annual leave a year and that Australia is one of the most holiday-deprived nations in the developed world. With 32% of Australians citing financial pressures as an impediment to getting away, Accor is encouraging you to escape more often, giving back 50% of whatever you spend on your accommodation in Accor Holiday Dollars to be used towards your next stay.
No longer will you have to save for months before you can take another break – now Accor is already contributing towards the cost for you. As an added incentive, Accor will also provide double points in its A|Club loyalty program for every booking during this period, giving you twice the incentive.
With more than 100 hotels participating across the Sofitel, Pullman, Novotel, Mercure, All Seasons and Ibis brands, and rates from as little as $89 per room per night, this is an offer too good to refuse. Whatever you spend on your accommodation you will receive 50% of the value in Accor Holiday Dollars - valid for 12 months from the date of your original stay - to be used towards another holiday. If you spend $100 you get 50 back in Accor Holiday Dollars; if you spend $1000 you get 500 back so it's a huge incentive.
The study found that the French are amongst the best in the world at taking their holidays so it makes sense that Accor, with its French origins, would understand the value of getting away from it all. Accor knows that regular breaks are not only good for your health and relationships but contribute to a much happier life. You can use your Accor Holiday Dollars towards several short breaks throughout the year or as part-payment for one big vacation at a range of Accor hotels.
"This Accor Holiday Dollars promotion is great for Australian tourism, but most importantly it is great for travellers because it makes a hotel stay twice as rewarding – firstly by giving you 50% of your accommodation spend back towards another holiday and secondly in offering double A|Club reward points," said Simon McGrath, Vice President Accor Australia.
This offer is available for bookings made from 20 June and for stays until 11 October 2010. Accor Holiday Dollar stays can be booked for any time within 12 months from the date of the first stay. Conditions apply.
