Kids Room at Swissotel: Makes Travelling with Children and Teenagers Child's Play
SINGAPORE, June 2010 – To make travelling with children easier for parents, Swissôtel Hotels & Resorts has enhanced its Swissôtel Kids Room concept: the international hotel chain now tailors the rooms to three different age groups, satisfying the needs of babies, children and teenagers even more effectively. The service ranges from cuddly toys and cartoons to Nintendo Wiis and iPod docking stations.
For guests below five years, the rooms will have a crib or baby's bed, stroller, baby high chair, portable baby monitor, socket covers, along with soft toys, books, brightly-coloured bed linen and a children's menu. Children between ages six and 12 can expect family board games, hot chocolate, a mini bar selection of healthy drinks and snacks, cartoon DVDs to watch and comics to read.
In pursuit of their interests, young people from 13 – 18 years old can enjoy modern electronic entertainment equipment like Nintendo Wii or an iPod docking station as well as magazines, games such as Trivial Pursuit or Scotland Yard and a selection of exciting DVDs at Swissôtels around the world. This allows young people to spend their free time sensibly without being watched over by their parents.
Connected directly or adjacent to the parents' room, the Swissôtel Kids Room guarantees fun for the kids whilst parents relax and enjoy their stay. Babysitting services can be arranged upon request. More information about the Swissôtel Kids Room can be found at www.swissotel.com.
