South African Airways launches Earlybird campaign to Europe and UK with fares from only $2,671 ex-Perth and $2,737ex-East Coast
South African Airways (SAA) has released a range of new special Earlybird fares for travel to Europe and the UK via South Africa from early 2010.
According to Thevan Krishna, SAA's Head of Australasia, "these great fares offer real value for money and make travelling to the UK and Europe via Africa very affordable."
"These special return airfares to London, Frankfurt and Munich start at $2,671 from Perth and $2,737 from Sydney, Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Coolangatta. Fares include all taxes and surcharges as at today's date," Thevan said.
"Even better we are offering a free side-trip to Cape Town, so if people prefer, they can fly from or into that city from Europe or the UK. SAA offers 35 flights each week from Johannesburg and Cape Town to the UK and Europe."
"The fare is valid for sale from now until 30 November 2009 with travel dates from 1 February 2010 until 31 May, then from 1 August until 30 November.
"This means there's the opportunity to enjoy a completely different holiday experience via Africa on the way to Europe through most of 2010," Thevan said.
"Passengers wanting to connect through to other African cities in our extensive network can do so by consulting their travel agent or buying direct online."
Thevan said that with a strong Australian dollar and excellent value accommodation deals available through travel agents, now is the time to visit Africa.
"Last year our Early Bird campaign was very successful. With the renewed visitor interest in Africa as a business and recreational destination, plus the excitement as we build up to the Football World Cup, we expect great things again in 2010," Thevan concluded.
