Global luxury travel company, Abercrombie & Kent (A&K), is delighted to announce their My Inspiring Travel Moment photographic competition, open for entries from 19 October – 30 November 2009. The first prize is an outstanding trip for two to Ecuador and the Galapagos Islands, cruising on the luxury MV Eclipse, experiencing the wonder of wildlife in this amazing archipelago.
Starting in Ecuador's capital Quito, this journey of a lifetime includes leisurely days cruising the Galapagos, taking in the marvels of nature with an expert naturalist guide. With numerous trips by rubber panga to secluded bays, guests are likely to spy the famous Galapagos turtle, land and marine iguanas, brightly coloured crabs, fur seals, sea lions and maybe even a blue footed booby! Surrounded by whales, penguins and dolphins, the trip includes a visit to the Charles Darwin Research Station. This trip is a travel lover's – and keen photographer's – dream!

The My Inspiring Travel Moment competition is being run in conjunction with The Australian's Travel & Indulgence section with the winning image being published in their final issue for the year in mid December. Susan Kurosawa,The Australian's esteemed Travel Editor, is joining with A&K Australia Managing Director Sujata Raman, to choose the worthy winner. Both seasoned travellers with a passion for discovery, their keen eyes will be focussed to spot the most inspiring travel image.
