Holland America 2010/11 season
HOLLAND America has clarified its 2010/11 Australasian itineraries (TD today), saying that Volendam will actually be in Australasian waters for longer next season than in 2009/10. The 10/11 season kicks off 22 Oct 2010 when Volendam arrives in Auckland, after a voyage from Vancouver.
Although the 2010/11 season doesn't include the longer voyages and circumnavigations of the 2009/10 itineraries, the line has pointed out that the 2010/11 program has more Sydney to Sydney cruises than ever before - including HAL's first ever 16-night Sydney-Sydney holiday cruise to NZ and back, which departs 17 Dec 2011.
The rejigged itineraries also include two South Pacific departures ex Sydney.
HAL said its Amsterdam is also coming through Australian waters in Oct 2010 during its Grand Asia Voyage, with Australians to be offered Hong Kong-Sydney, Singapore-Sydney and Sydney-San Diego sectors.
More details in tomorrow's Cruise Weekly.
